Long-time film industry professional, KEN CONNER, will take actors through a very unique 4 week intensive audition and acting technique.  Do you REALLY want to be a professional actor? Learn key secrets Ken discovered working on big budget movie projects shot in New Orleans during the years before Katrina. Ken has re-located here and can help give you the core training you may never have known is essential to working as an actor.

MR. CONNER offers a workman-like approach to the acting craft and the entertainment business. He helps actors understand their importance to the production and share insights into helping actors "get the job." He will share experiences about auditioning and insights into what the Director or Casting Agent is thinking.  Actors can calm their own "jitters", with the proper "inside" information.
 
MEET KEN CONNER

Ken Conner is a Big Easy Entertainment Award-winning director and producer and worked as a local casting director for a new television series titled Bourbon Street scheduled for release in 2008. He was a successful working actor in commercial and regional film work. As a private acting coach, he assisted local talent in their career management. In the area of public policy, he held a consulting position with the New Orleans Film Commission and with the Louisiana Cultural Economy Initiative Study in 2005.
 
MOVING IMAGES GROUP, the motion picture division of ACTORS' THEATRE OF SOUTH CAROLINA was created four years ago to train professionals in SC's movie industry. Actors' Theatre of SC is known throughout the state for some of the finest in professional acting training in the area.  Currently, MIG is completing post-production in Orlando, Florida, on an indie feature motion picture, ALL FOR LIBERTY, shot all over South Carolina featuring hundreds of actors and training over 60 students in front of and behind the camera.
